Degeyter, Kim

Kim has been a part of the DeLarue Dance Centre staff since her graduation from DDC in 1995.

She is a graduate of Lafayette High School and was a member of the LHS dance team for 3 years, serving as co-captain her senior year. Kim was listed as Who's Who Among American High School Students and was a Regent Scholar Graduate.

Kim graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She received her Master’s degree in 2002 and is presently employed by the Iberia Parish School Board as a Speech-Language Therapist.

Kim is an active participant in the Iberia Performing Arts League, contributing as choreographer for such musicals as Chicago, Godspell, and Hairspray. She was recently awarded Best Choreography for her work in IPAL’s production of Spamalot.
